Drilling Maple Sap Pilot Holes

The traditional day for drilling maple sap pilot holes is New Years Day. I did make it out and drilled two. It was bitter, bitter cold and nothing was moving yet, but I got two tubes in and we'll see if they start delivering some sap. As of current writing, it has warmed up but there's still no sap.
